What to Expect During the Vitality Scan
During this scan, the focus is primarily on assessing the location of the embryo, determining vitality (heart activity), and identifying whether it’s a singleton or multiple pregnancy. Listening to the heartbeat does not typically occur during this scan. The vitality scan is often performed internally. It’s important to note that comprehensive health assessments are limited at this stage.
