The tree of Hope
Welcome to the “Tree of Hope” in the tranquil Luierpark, a memorial place filled with love and respect. As Uniek Geboortezorg, we – Rosanne van Jole and Samantha de Roode – had the privilege of planting this tree as a gesture of support and solidarity. It provides parents with space to cherish memories and make their love tangible by placing a pendant on the tree or adding a plant to the soil around it. The “Tree of Hope” is a beacon of remembrance, a symbol of eternal love. It is specifically for parents who have lost their child during or after pregnancy.
The Luierpark in Stripheldenbuurt (Almere) has been a beautiful, serene place for grief and remembrance for many years. That’s why we planted our tree in this special location. It is a place of solace where parents find comfort. The Tree of Hope is located near a play area, swing, and a quiet picnic bench. It forms a central point where there is also room for lightness and joy. Both young and older children can play there and enjoy the surroundings.
Dear moms and dads, you are not alone. Together, we carry your loss and remember the precious souls who were too short with us.

Rosanne en Samantha:
“With this gesture, we want to create a place where loving memories can grow. And provide a special place to come together and remember.
From us, for you.”
