Yvonne Verschoor

Hey expectant parents, it’s wonderful to meet you! My name is Yvonne Verschoor, and starting March 21, 2024, I will be joining the Uniek Geboortezorg team as a midwife and sonographer. People around me describe me as a true “people person” and a genuine “social butterfly.” Luckily, we have plenty of appointment times, because I can talk endlessly. I love taking all the time needed to put you at ease and make sure everyone is well informed. I am happy to guide you through everything that comes your way.

I absolutely love performing ultrasounds. It’s so special to see the reactions of soon-to-be dads and moms when they see their little one on the screen for the first time. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to sneak a peek into the wondrous world of mom’s belly?

Outside of work, I’m a mother of a teenager and, more recently, a dog mom to a teenage pup. Yes, that’s going to be an adventure, haha! A fun fact about me: I was born in Amsterdam, back when Almere didn’t even have a hospital. I’m really looking forward to working with Samantha and Rosanne to continue building this unique practice in Almere, and above all, to sharing a beautiful, unforgettable time together.
